This image is a little (well, a lot) different for Yarka, who was a documentarian at heart. Nevertheless, she liked to experiment, as with this image of a musician. Though most of her later work was in color, she really loved black and white, returning to it for much of her personal work. So, this effect was an unusual departure for her.
